 STC has over 8 decades of operational excellence, beginning in 1937 when Swiff-Train Company opened in Corpus Christi, TX in the cotton business. After WWII, Swiff-Train entered the flooring business in
1959 by buying inventory of a San Antonio distributor’s CC location, thus creating Swiff-Train Company, flooring distributor. In 2014, Stonebridge Partners purchased the Company, writing a new chapter and
evolving into what we are now known as –

Today STC continues to bring expert sourcing, supply and delivery of flooring products to a national network of customers. STC is “Strengthening the Core” to proactively build on this history to continue to offer superior service in the flooring industry. As a pinnacle of excellence for over 80 years, and we strive to not only preserve our core values, but to instill our own modern Guiding Principles into our own lives and the work we lead every day.

STC Distribution

 STC Distribution runs a best in class operations team. In 2021, we drove 600,000 miles, delivered over 26 million pounds of products, and made 8,798 delivery stops. We carry MILLIONS of square feet of inventory across warehouse spaces – headquartered in Houston, TX. Covering Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Florida and Colorado, our leading sales team of 24 knowledgeable, attentive and enthusiastic professionals are dedicated to the business and work hard to ensure not only the company success, but the growth of each customer

STC Distribution runs a best in class operations team of 5 warehouses, operating 17 power tractor units and 24-48’ trailers. In 2019, we drove 1.2 million miles, delivered 33.5 million pounds of products, and made more than 1500 stops. Covering Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Florida, our leading sales team of 30 knowledgeable, attentive and enthusiastic professionals are dedicated to the business
